Greetings!

It is my honor to serve as Commanding Officer of Station Shelby, the Watchtower-class space station. I'm a life-long Memphian from Tennessee, committed to celebrating and creating bright lights within my community. I also serve as the Sector Alpha Coordinator for Region One, collaborating with other COs in Tennessee and Kentucky.

We are a community with 54 paid members, who just celebrated our first year as a commissioned chapter. We sprung from yearly attendees of Shelby County Star Trek Day, and I, along with my XO, continue to help organize the event, now in its eleventh year. Our station also serves as the escort ship for the up-and-coming chapter, the USS Alexandria out of Jackson, TN.

As your CO, I hope to continue to provide opportunities for service, growth, camaraderie and fun as you explore SFI.

Outside of the fleet, I'm an educator with Memphis-Shelby County Schools, teaching English as a Second Language to K-2 students, and I serve as the association representative for my school. I'm the former host of Nerd Nite Memphis, a monthly celebration of all things geeky. Being project-oriented, I'm slowly putting together the LEGO Enterprise-D and am on a journey to watch the entire Star Trek canon. I'm partner to my station counselor and Uncle James to my XO/best friend's daughters.

To me, STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc. represents our ability to organize, to build the world Gene Roddenberry envisioned. It represents the best of all of us, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you.
